- Graduated from college in 2015
- Is currently a PhD candidate in biology and wants to be a college professor

MEET PETER
Peter enjoys a snuggle with baby Lucas.
PETER BY KEVAN: He knows how to maximize work/life balance and cherishes his time at home with family. Some of our friends have young kids, and he enjoys reading to them. Peter has the biggest heart of anyone I know.
ABOUT PETER
- Graduated from college in 2015
- Earned his law degree in 2017 and now works as an attorney with a firm supportive of our endeavor to adopt
Peter enjoys
- Hiking – especially when creeks or rivers are involved
- Going to shows and movies, listening to audiobooks
Introduced in 2012, we knew we had found “Mr. Right”. Within a year, we committed to marry – when the law allowed, and when we were established in our education/careers. That happy day came in 2017.
Our neighborhood is large and diverse. There are tons of kids running around, and we’ve learned that many have expanded their families through adoption. The area offers lots of amenities for families, including a pool, playgrounds, and basketball and tennis courts.

THE GREAT OUTDOORS IS OUR HAPPY PLACE
Our parents and siblings all live in NC and they look forward to being part of our child’s life. Our siblings are in school nearby, and we love hosting weekly family dinners featuring Kevan’s cooking! Peter’s sister enjoys going with us to the zoo, and we can’t wait to have a little one to bring along.

MEET WILSON AND EMMA
We love our fur babies! Wilson and Emma are both rescues who love people (big and small) and can’t wait to be big brother and sister to a tiny human!
WE LOVE TO TRAVEL!
We loved going to Spain on our honeymoon and want to visit Europe again once our child is old enough to enjoy the trip.
No trip to Key West, FL is complete without a visit to the Southernmost Point.
HOLIDAYS ARE FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILIES!
Finding the perfect Christmas tree is a big family tradition.

As parents, our goal is to instill in our child – a love of God, a love of learning, and a love of nature. We will be firm in our discipline, but compassionate and understanding. We will encourage our child to dream big and give our child the tools to achieve their goals.
